Founder & Owner
Rocky Gravel
Joseph "Rocky" Gravel is the founder of the Evergreen Yard Care brand. Starting is 1984 during his days off from the fire house where he spent 38 years serving the community as a full time firefighter retiring as Captain with the Winslow Fire Dept. He grew Evergreen Yard Care into one of the first lawn care companies in Central Maine. During the early 90's Rocky pivoted the company and re branded as Precision Tree & Landscape where he successfully ran that company till mid 2009. In 2010 Rocky & Kyle dusted off the Evergreen name and brought it back to life focusing on lawn care at the time and slowly growing it back into full service landscaping company. Today you can find Rocky grinding stumps, lending a helping hand on landscape jobs and keeping the wheels moving in the office.
Owner
Kyle Gravel
One of the owners and operators of Evergreen Yard Care since it incorporated in 2018, Kyle has helped the Central Maine location grow but has also been the one to expand the business into the southern part of the state. After attending college at SMCC in South Portland for New Media Communications, Kyle wanted to make a name for himself in a new area. "I love making improvements to someones yard! Nothing is better than seeing a project completed by our crews!" Kyle plans to grow the company further and make Evergreen Yard Care Inc. one of Maine's most professional lawn and landscaping companies.
Operations Manager
Garrett
Garrett joined us in the fall of 2023. As the company was growing Kyle & Rocky felt it time to start filling out the upper management roster to manage the company better. Garrett has almost two decades in the industry and has worked his way up in both skill and expertise making him a key member on our team!
Logan
Joining in 2019 Logan is a huge part of our operation in Southern Maine, starting off at the bottom Logan now runs our dedicated landscape maintenance & installation team! Logan is very good at his job and making sure the clients vision comes alive!
Winslow Divison Foreman
Travis
Travis joined our Winslow team in 2019 and was quickly promoted to crew leader helping us service our many maintenance clients in Winslow! He also heads up landscaping jobs as well! He brings a can do attitude and ensures our clients have the nicest yards around!
Will
Will joined our Winslow location in 2019. He is the company comedian always trying to uplift everyone’s mood! He enjoys working outdoors and accomplishing jobs for clients! In the winter Will manages a sidewalk clearing crew to make sure our clients sidewalks and back doors are clear!
Christian
Christian joined our team in 2022. Working with our Winslow team, he enjoys mowing yards and doing landscape installs! He loves how the job changes daily and he’s always doing something unique and different.
Blake
Blake joined up with our southern Maine team in the late fall of 2022. Blake likes to joke around with his coworkers and enjoys cutting lawns for our many clients! He has been a valuable asset to our lawn maintenance team!
